Panopticon Bill. Personal Clauses

be in possession of his said Office, inasmuch as without
expence to any prosecutor he may at the instance
of any person whatsoever be immediately removed
And Whereas special disability is no fit retribution
for extra-ordinary service Be it enacted
and declared that the said intended Governor
& his Successors may sit in Parliament the
said Statute notwithstanding.

Art. 4. Provided that if by the terms of

Governor or any future Governor should be removable
at the pleasure of his Majesty or of any other person
or persons or that the appointment to the said Office
should be otherwise than for life or during good
behaviour any Governor so contracting or appointed

have any benefit from this Act.
