Post S.B. to Pelham

Dear Sir

My Brother has sent or will send, a present
in his way, to Sir J. Parnell, some papers
of his relative to mode of providing for the Poor J.B. to
Sir John Parnell as it may was to him they could not but be sent addressed
on the score of old acquaintance: allow me
on my part to speak of them to you as if
they were addressed to you, in the hope and expectation
of their coming under your eye.

You will see how perfectly

What I myself think of their merit,
and of the use that might be made of the
system of which they form a part, I stand too
near to time to say — [you will judge.] it is for
you to judge.

You will see how perfectly his visions harmonize
with Count Rumfords at least with what
I know of Count Rumfords: how much he his depends
upon the Count and how forward he is to proclaim
the dependence: Yet the point of view
in which he takes up the subject, the sort of
provision he has undertaken, the sort of use he
endeavours to render, are perfectly distinct: my
Brother [+] [+] as a lawyer, & an English lawyer (by profession though not by trade) considering the matter more in the way of legislation:
the Count more in the way of administration & management.
