Charges against White

24 Mar 1802

But when the said Jeremy Bentham requested him
to appoint point out to him such clause or
clauses of the said Act as so appeared to him
to be incompatible as also that he would hear
a review in writing from he said Jeremy Bentham either then
or at any other time more convenient to him
the statements & reasons on which the said
application had been grounded he the said
Joseph White did then & there utterly refuse
at that time or any other either to
the said Act or to hold any communication
whatever with or so ready or hear any thing
from the said Jeremy Bentham on the said
subject & the better more effectually to put an end to all
further application & applications relative
to the same to the said Joseph White did
immediately transmitt to the said Board
such his Report by letter dated on that same
day.
