I begin with this incident, though not as being strictly speaking the first in point of (though
does it count if being so, but as necessary for this reason already given, as being the a
key to all the every other part of this history.

the quantity of land contained
on the spot, that, had under the original Parliamentary Act Statute of (Kg G.3.c.74)
had been appropriated by the verdict of a Jury, to the
Parliamentary system, under the its according to first originally edition of its intended shape,
was the quantity, in which my own Proposal had taken

that Proposal, had been engaged to me. This quantity
was, consequence in consequence, the least quantity that could be

over and over again, for the most conclusive reasons, had been withholden, in a manner without reason assigned or assignable, by a course of conduct,
the particulars of which belong not to the present

descriptions, taken
common and in separate ownership,
taken together,
according
to the first conception by which that neighbourhood
was , printed out, had been secured in the
first instance by an Enclosing Act, according to in pursuance of the
notice given by the Treasury to that purpose. effect. (b) Notes

expedient of the purchase of the contiguous estate of
Ld Salisbury having been proposed, in the manner your Lordship has seen (c) (c) SS. 1. p.
scarcely less certain expedient for compassing the same
object, it remained, after the purchase of that estate had
been secured, to compleat the requisite allotment, not
of a part partly out of Tothill Fields, partly out of some contiguous lands
