§ 11 Disarmed Memorial
I.10 (c) This letter is the delivered by me to
Mr Nepean, and by him to Mr Long, is the last
communication I ever had the honour of addressing
to the Honourable Gentleman last mentioned, with
or without the intervention of Mr Nepean or any
body else. It would have been marked, as it
was intended to be to the transparent and detected
plan of taking a the pretended encrease of terms on
my part as a pretence for relinquishment a
real decrease of terms on their part with a
declared view to relinquishment – supposing it
not suppressed – and supposing any sense of
shame to be have preserved a plan not to have been compleatly stifled in in the
Honourable breasts of the individuals concerned.
But in the event of a search among the records
documents of the Treasury, my expectation would
be to find tis document to have upon the supposed
list. Of On the subject of the effect and moral quality character
of such practices, a separate section may
I am incllined to think, be not unprofitably bestowed.† † See [§ ]
