so new as could be wished to a state
of perfect fitness for the reception of that negative
which had been prepared for it, at least
as near to that perfect stall as under the suspicions they saw entertained by me there could
be any hope of it.

And now my Lord I hope I have pretty
well succeeded in satisfying Your Lordship, that
it was not without could not have been with
any other than the treacherous view above
stated imputed that by means of the deceit put upon my protector they pulled for forced from me my Memorial
in its defenceless state, nor was it without necessity
that they had recourse to struck at last into that plan path of
frantic desperate and panic struck guilt which Your
Lordship will find them pursuing presently at the next stage.
