Insidious Letter

In this letter, without looking beyond it out of the tenor of it
Your Lordship will observe three principal points.

1 The resolution not attempted to be disguised – the
resolution of relinquishment relinquishing the plan altogether: 2. the fresh Proposal
that was to be extracted from me in order to serve
afford pretence for such the relinquishment, and the
compensation talked of talk of made compensation that was to serve as a cloak
for the injustice of it.

Of On the mystery of inequity, announced by this
unexpected letter, a part a few additional lights
were afterwards thrown by those the subsequently
disclosed Minutes, which were as yet concealed:
and of which this letter forms the concluding article
to the Section in which those Minutes are displayed.
I will accordingly by your Lordship's permission
for referring what the remains subject requires to be said
on the subject of compensation.
