The subject of it is "the necessity of the increase
"of charge in the terms of the terms
his (Mr Bentham's) Contract for creating a Penitentiary
House. It The statements in it are
statements stories known to be false in substance by
both parties: by the parties uttering them and the
parties to whom they are told. This Your Lordship
has seen already† ††: but Your Lordship will
see it in a still stronger light (for no light
like those – not be in a light
can be too strong for practices like these) in a succeeding
section. Let this letter be dragged forth
and Mr King and with his Dealer will be constituting
together in the mud down deep.
The next letter is a letter from Mr Long.

Minute grounded on it.
2 After the letter, a letter of Mr Long to
Mr King in answer to that of Mr King and grounded
in the Minute: both disposing of my full contents of: both
concealed from me, and meant to be so for ever.
3. After an interval of seven months comes
another letter to Mr Long from Mr King. From For that such
