Mr Long might at any time if he had pleased such had been
his pleasure
seen and an expanded and detailed
account of these would be and would have been
improvements or supposed improvements in the same
works. Mr Long could not but have been seen
nor can he altogether help having seen a pretty ample and impressive index of them
in that this every volume of the works of the Committee
of Finance which has extracted from his
the letter in question together with so many other
ingenious and ingenuous letters: but to have
seen it to any purpose of instruction, or truth
or honesty would have taken up too much
of his invaluable time, and would have been spoilt
incompatible with altogether destructive of the complement to the succe dynasty of
successive of Lords, ending concluding with Lord Belgrave.
