as to that point at any rate – discussions and
explanations. – My Lord, I must beg beseech of Your
Lordship – once and again – for once is not
enough for a fact in its own nature so incredible
– I must beseech of Your Lordship
to understand, if it be possible – that from the
commencement of this period to the conclusion of it

Thus much I am ready to grant to Your

would of the design – would have
been too absurd to be endurable. But, my
Lord it was from the execution itself – from itself – and
the execution itself as it stands off not so much as from reasoning much less from imagination – that the
plan draught your Lordship has seen of the design
was drawn – from the execution itself, as
Your Lordship will see it painted stamped, upon the
very face of the official documents.
