of the implied allegation to this effect the the nature of the allegation made by them. Admitt the
sincerity of it, the
criminality of the act vanishes, the illegality
of it remaining as before: suppose the allegation in this respect insincere deny the sincerity,
the act becomes, not only illegal, but criminal
whatever may have been the motive.
