Sheffield Park May 29th 1795

Sir

Herewith you will receive the drawings of the
different parts of the Penitentiary Building and as but few
of them are totally done with, you had better return them all
that are necessary to make Models from. I cannot give
a very favourable acct of our proceedings with the Points
and Sashes but will endeavour to send you
some of them with the next parcel which I hope will
be in a short time 'tho not immediately owing
to the Canal being stoped for the clearance of some
of the Cutts. What we have sent and have ready
to send we suppose may be upwards of 150 Tons
how much will be wanted to complete the order
I cannot tell but will do all we can to prevent
any hindrance to the erection and shall be glad to
receive a line saying where it is to be Built and how
far you have already proceeded with it. I remain
