J.B. to Mallet for Audit Board

Points for Letter to
Mallet for the Board
at large

1 J.B.'s offer to stand examination,
if accepted,
would have saved him
weeks of vexation — all
the existerant questions
being obviated instanter.

Having made to lose
so much time Questions
to other & to hope better
purposes, all the case
about how to turn the by what means if possible
than these relatively wasted masses
be made serviceable to
the public in another
shape. Thus —
1. Charge against the
Officer

2. Suggestions relative
to the mode of procedure.
in respect of
3 examination of
rules of procedure
3. — in respect of no
individual responsibility

In giving the account
which it thinks him to
give of the Audit Board
it will be another of some real
concern to me I have
to report such dificences
pointed out, and
pointed out in view without
effect.

anonymousness

Anonymous Invisible Incendiary

But anonymous
Judges?

One set of invisible
Judges is known to
the Judges of which the
judiciatory called the
Veham tribunal was
composed: and such
a tribunal judicatory it is represented
to be, as a
man would fly from
to the Star Chamber
or to the Kings Bench
in Jeffries time for
refuge.

What is it that a
man will not do, when
he is not responsible
for what he
When power is directed of eyes
if closed if without responsibility,
where is the
degree of incapacity
that is not sufficient
for it — where is the
degree of improbity
that does not find itself
at its ease

In such a judicity
in case the very
forms of justice, of another
judicatory any
forms are observed,
is mere mockery.

Before such a judicatory
what service
can a man hope to
do himself by the
most means?

Instead of maturing encreasing/improving/serving
his chance prospect
does not every argument cause,
in proportion
to its force tend to contribute
lessen it, to render it hopeless?

The stronger the argument,
the stronger
the irritation it produces,
in the mind
of the incapable or
corrupt judges ( For
a as rare does a
Judge flatter himself
that by his merely forbearing
to receive
bribes that are here now
offered to him the
guilt of corruption is
in the way
to whose designs it

escaped by him)
whose design it

whose incapacity
or improbity it presents
a mirror
in which they behold
their own too

☞ Propose that each
of the 9 charges should
have the names of the
Judges attached to the
answer given to it:
as in Ld Milbitham's
trial

Suggestions
1. Communication of rules
of procedure.
2. — especially what concerns
impounding of papers
3 4 Taxing Accountants by
stamps and envelopes
4. 3. Non-user of personal
examination.
5. Irresponsibility.

Having to do with
a set of unknown and
nameless Judges, who
for aught I know
might be identified
with the officer any individual
officer who was the
object of against whom the charges complaint
I found it necessary to
make.

J.B. woud be sorry to have
to report — that of the two
of duty, one was
learned to be performed nobody
knows how — the other
trampled upon.

5
Former Board its nothingness.
