The Commissioners for Auditing
the Public Accounts, considering
that you have not returned Answers
to the Queries & Observations on your
Account of Expenditure for an intended
Penitentiary Establishment from
1794 to 1798, which were transmitted
to you on the 10th of March last, & that
you undertook by your Letter of the
13th Ultimo that such Answers should
be returned within a few days after
the 21st of that month, have directed
me to remind you thereof, & to desire
that you will transmit the Answers
& Explanations required with the
least possible delay.
