the three Papers
of Queries, Representations
and Changes.

Sir

A paper of Observations and Queries dated
Office for auditing the Public Accounts Adelphi, London
10 March 1808, signed Richd Whitcomb, Chief Inspector and intituled "Observations and Queries
"that have arisen in the Examination of the Account of
"Jeremy Bentham Esquire of the money received and expended
"by him for an intended Penitentiary Establishment
"from the year 1794 to 1798"

having been transmitted to me on or about that same day at my House in Queens Square
Place Westminster, on or about that same day after a variety
of intervening incidents, not necessary on the present occasion
to be taken particularly noticed, on this 16th last instant I have I transmitted back to
the said Office by the post the said paper accompanied with my
"Answers and Explanations" thereby called for in pursuance
of the requisition therein contained.

Along with these my Answers and Explanations
but in a separate paper marked C I have transmitted
under the same cover in a an Appendix three composed of three separate papers marked
A.B. and C intituled
