Sir,

I am directed by the
Commissioners of Audit to apprize
you, that they deem it expedient
to require the Attendance at this
Office of any Witness, or Witnesses,
you may think proper to produce
for the Purpose of verifying upon
Oath, the several Disbursements
stated in your Account Current
to have been made for Wages to the
Amount of £1821..16..4 to Workmen
employed in making Preparation
for the penitentiary Houses agreeably
to the Terms of your Imprest; and
that they request you will inform
me of the names & address of such
Witnesses, in order that a time
may be appointed for their Examination
before this Board.
