N.B. Should In an action between A & B should such
evidence be ad inadmissible, yet in the principal case. I should
hav not be in want of other grounds to argue upon. But if
admissible, I should therefore be so much the stronger in my
argument with Mr Chief Inspector.

If the case should be put as I hope to find it - viz
not requiring any consideration for the answer of it
I should hope to be answer accus favour'd with your answer
by return of post or by the next post - being under engagement
to return give an answer to Mr Chief Inspector by the time
the work is at an end.
