The miscontent
therein -

Instead of then expressing and explaining himself, the
course taken by Mr Chief Inspector was to call In a
dark and peremptory manner, and without any word of
explanation, to call of In this requires the production of that
very document viz. "the receipt" which the Accountant in the paper lying before him
had he observed the Accountant in the same terms acknowledginged to be unproducible.

Understanding Applying If to the requisition thus presented expressed its
natural and proper import be assessed - i.c. unless it be supposed
