2. From the whole tenor of the Accountants so often mentioned
examination, ++ 23 June 1798 it must have been plain to the
Mr Chief Inspector that, even at that time, and at the end of
a period of five years delay and disbursement without
return, the Accountant, finding himself hurt suffer looked upon
in various ways a sufferer, did not regard the suffering
he had then endured as altogether reconcilable with
the dictates of "Justice" + + Exam Accountants Examination 23 June 1798 In speaking of such his suffering,
it could not be manifest scarcely escape the observation of any reader
and in particular of Mr Chief Inspector, with
what extreme reserve and, caution, avoiding as much
as possible all mention of determinate persons, the Accountant
had therein all along expressed himself.
By, the delay of no less than ten years more years of delay that have since expired elapsed and the
and, of the practical part of the correspondence
by such part as to the regret no matter of the Accountant
his regret by either the requisitions of Mr Chief Inspector, been dropped
2 viz it will naturally be imagined, that in the eyes
of this Accountant, [ the justice of ] the which preceding
has not in point of "justice" been much encreased improved.

Meantime, to some if possible, the small remaining
question of the which of the stock in question, the fruit of the expenditure in question, from being, by which Mr Chief Inspector's
insatiable requisitions, dragged out of his hands, the Accountant
has fund himself under the necessity of being
on this occasion to view a chain of documents, by
the conclusion of which the whole plan was, though
in an indeterminate and indecisive manner, above seven
years ago, in effect set aside + Accountants Answer
to the Inspector's Query
no 6.
