Other expenses which I was unable to ease myself
of were going on at the same time. House and Warition
Kent, of the for example, for articles which yielded no
profit and even so much timber in my hands.

The place in question was an open wharf, on
about which it the articles lay, exposed to depredation; by which whereby
I might have sustained loss to any amount, without means
of obtaining compensation; for the spot was pitched upon
for the moment, under on the spur of necessity the occasion without any
apprehension of those delays and obstacles, by which the

it rests at present.

3. At that time, information reached me that

than £50 per cent loss: and so it proved.
