The forcing from me explanations which, to many an eye
and amongst others to turn to which on this occasion it may for ought I know happen
may on this oc curiosity to

have to evil in the character of judicial ones, is one not the
least of the vexations to which I have been subjected by the inconsiderable
curiosity [+] [+] (to give it its mildest
epithet) of Mr Chief

alone, or at least to
the apprehension of
it may let the disclosure
be attributed. what there is of it, be ascribed My
property, no inconsiderable
part of it, together with all the expectation grounded
in
it
was at the
disposal of the official
personages in question
and has accordingly been disposed
of. Let that
satisfy them: my
character — neither
have been nor ever
shall be, destined to will be, any part of it designed to
form any part of
the sacrifice.
