The evidence tendered by me at the outset, being
thus of the first quality — and that evidence
passed by without notice, as if all along unnoticed, and
at the same time all along unobjected to, I am thus all along without the shadow of a reason for the virtual
left to pure conjecture for the grounds of the virtual left in a manner to and inference imagination, assisted by such obscure hints as
rejection which has thus been put upon it. I
am thus left to imagination, assisted by such faint
lights as the impenetrable studied obscurity of Mr Inspectors
Queries and Observations and Queries has suffered here
and there to transpire, for a conjectural conception
of the legal principle, in which whole while this rejection which the line of conduct maintained
sort of conduct by him has formed a cause or a pretence.

shadow, I rely on the justice of the Board for ascribing
the quality of it, to Mr Chief Inspector, — by whom
it has been set up, and not to me the Accountant, who has thus been harrassed with it.
