The gentlemen who, in the supposition of their in question who appearing then to exist
existence, are probably I suppose conscious of such their existence
and knowing who themselves are, are in that sense
masters of that article of wisdom which has been stands
expressed in the aphorism know thyself, are probably
not wanting deficient in any such other desirable article gift as that
of a just confidence in themselves. But since it is to the this
knowledge which they are so happy as have the happiness to possess, that
they are indebted owe for the confidence they are so happy
as to entertain, and that this knowledge is the
object of a monopoly, shared perhaps by their in which in the supposition
