Panopt. Compensation Claim
III Contract
§§.7 Other Rates

(8) 8 Observations

7 = Observations the 7th: Giving to the Reverend Gentleman's management
credit whatsoever credit can be deserved for all other desirable qualities, cost of time to any
amount that can be desired,
yet as to at a pe what
concerns the only result here in question viz. pecuniary
gain profit no one w it will not, I imagine, by
regarded any eye whatsoever, taken even at its highest point of on the scale of felicity as above
be regarded
as affording any thing like
a fair sample, of the profit reasonably to have
been expected under the with the help of such peculiar
advantages as those which in the Claimants case
have been brought to view. No doubt but that it
would have been possible to have produced, even upon
so large a scale as the Claimants, pecuniary results,
still more less profitable than what appear to have been produced any
the management conducted upon that small scale:
but, on in looking a out for the degree of pecuniary
success which under the circumstances of my the case
ought to be regarded as most probable, my Arbitrators
will not I flatter myself, look upon it as proper for them
to fix their eyes extensively either upon the least profitable
result which it is possible to conceive, or even,
among so many as have been brought to their view
in the least profit upon those by which the lowest rate of profit has actually been afforded.

Of his attitude to pecuniary currency Of any study/labour library labour per made by him of the subject of
pecuniary currency, no Of any library labour
performed by him in the vineyard of pecuniary currency
no fruits have been appear to have been brought to c
view by the Reverend Gentleman. Of the library of the Arbitrators
labour performed in that same vineyard, not to speak of this that of Reformation &c.
by the Claimant, proofs, such as they are, are in the hands
of the Arbitrators. +
