No. I no such account is it in my power to furnish.
My Bankers book, yes: accompanied in most
instances with the requisite explanations. But not ever
would that be a con account, even admitting the relevancy
of every item, be a compleat one. In many instances
such was the pressure of the demands, money as it came
in from rent or sales was paid in to workmen, or
for materials, or perhaps for patents, or for house hold
one expense or other, without having found its way to the
Bankers.
