— and not confined
to pecuniary
injuries

Provided also that the said obligation shall
not be confined to the dama cases of Larceny
and other felonies of which the injury to the
individual is merely pecuniary, and that in
the way of direct damage: but shall extend to
Murder, Manslaughter, Mayhem, Rape,
and every other species of felony whatsoever
from whence injury pecuniary injury although
not in a direct way only in a consequential
way, or even injury of any kind although
not pecuniary shall appear to have accrued
to individuals any assignable individual or
individuals: such indemnification-money in
the case of Homicide to be applied at the discretion
of the Court to the use either of the
Prosecutor or Prosecutors, or of the personal next of
representative of kin to the deceased: for which purpose
neither Probate nor Letters of Administration
shall be necessary.
