Friendly Guardianship IX

1. The Ward may send to the said Governor a Petition
praying the renewal of the Assignment of Wardship, according
to a Form with which the said Governor shall have furnished
him for that purpose, and which may be to the effect of the Form Witnessed

2. The Guardian may then either upon the back of a
such Petition or on a separate instrument signify
his assent thereto, specifying the Post town at which he
wishes the renewal to be performed, and there or therewith
afterwards sending to the Governor by the said Guardians Counterpart his [...] of the said
Assignment executed as recorded by him the said Guardian for Assignment of Wardship the agent infinite: in order that the same may Governors be returned to him Counterpart may be transmitted to him the said Guardian with a like mark of renewal,and requesting
that his Bond may the said Guardian signifying also his willingness
The Governor may thereupon
to re use renew his said Bond for the following year,
and requesting that the same may be transmitted to
the said Town for that the said purpose.

3. The Governor may thereupon either extent transmitt to the Post
a renewal upon the said Instrument of Assignment Master of the Town so indicated or for the remarks by the said Guardian his the said ⊞⊞ Governor's said Counterpart st renewed as aforesaid, for the to be delivered to the said Guardian. together with a late instrument as also to the Post Master of the Town indicated by the said
with an instrument thereof executed [...] or a
if renewed [...] a renewal [...] of a transmittal
for the instrument of the [...] kind for the year appearing
together with the said Guardian's Bond and rep an instrument of Instruction
for the said Post Master, respecting the delivery requesting him to
of note deliver such Instrument of Assignment and other fresh now executed renewed Counterpart to the
attestation of the said Guardian on his applying for the same, to attest his re-execution of such Bond, and
re-transmission of the same when executed to the the same when so re-executed to transmittretransmitt
and to the him the said Governor, at the said Penitentiary House.

⊞ ⊞ 4. The said Governor may thereupon also transmitt to the Post Master of the Town indicated by the said Ward a like instrument of Assignment executed by him the said Governor, to be delivered to the said Ward, or to be as also a like ⊞
⊞ Ward instrument Instruction relative to the delivery of such Assignment to the said Ward.

5. Such Instructions may being as aforesaid, being respectively a according to the
Form, marked [F.12.4 F 13] the said Post Master to whom the same is directed shall conform
to the same: and for the doing whereof [...] he may take of said Guardian and for his
such Ward respectively for his fee as a fee for the delivery of every such Instrument of Assignment
6d. and for the attestation and retransmission
of such Bond 6d., and no more: and moreover, if he shall
have received from the said Governor a proper blank certificate declarative
of such Act of delivery which certificate may be according to the Town ⊞ marked [F.14] shall according to the truth of the case fill up such
and shall retransmitt the same signed by him to the said Governor at the said Penitentiary-House.
