Any person accessary whether before or after the first unlawful absentation
of a Metasylum man or woman from service,
knowing or having reason to believe such absentation to be unlawful shall forfeit
to the party grieved at the rate of not more than
10s a day during the time of such absentation
on conviction before one Justice.
Art. 21. Any person accessary whether before or after the first to the absolute discretion
of a Metasylum man or woman whether by inticing, or assisting, or harbouring such deserter, or otherwise knowing or
having sufficient reason to believe the existence of the intention
on the part of such Metasylum man or woman
absolutely so to desert, shall on conviction before one Justice forfeit to the use of the
Governor informer any sum not less than 20s
nor more than £5, on conviction before one
Justice over and above the penalty forfeited to
the use of the party grieved proportioned as aforesaid
to the time of such absentation as shall
have eventually the penalty for inspecting
given in the case of absentation as aforesaid, to the use of the party grieved.
Art. 22 If a Metasylum man or woman after shall
desertion be having deserted shall be
convicted of a felony committed after such desertion
or upon other offence, any person accessary to such desertion as above-mentioned
forfeit shall
