Art. 28 Any such prisoner may in such case be
conveyed either in any way in which persons
charged with felony are or may be conveyed from County to
County and so to London or elsewhere there to be
dealt with according to law:2 ⊞2 or in the same manner as a Vagrant under the State of the 13th seventeenth year of the reign of King George the second, Chapter the fifth as aforementioned. of the Magistrate by
above order such prisoner is conveyed may except
by a special Warrant appoint a person or
persons as Constable or Constables for that purpose: which2 ⊞2 of giving to such Constable or Constables such Warrant of Appertance mutatis mutandis as it herein before mentioned (Sect IX Art. 5.) said Constable
or Constables shall have with respect to which to the said purpose
custody and conveyance have the same powers
in any County or Town Place without the jurisdiction
of the Jus of such Magistrate, as in any Place
within the same.

Art. 29. The expence of conveyance not exceeding 1s a Mile shall in such
case be borne by the said Governor: and the Magistrate
by whose warrant such conveyance is ordered
may for this purpose either make an order upon may for the the of such exponent raising the amount thereof either proceed as under
the Governor of the County, or in Middlesex upon
the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish as under
the Statute of the 27th of King George the 2d ch. 3,
by order upon the Treasurer of the County, or in Middlesex
upon the Overseers of the Poor
who in such case shall respectively have their recourse against
the said Governor for the same the money so advanced of may for that purpose make an order
of requisition onfor that there purpose directed immediately to the said Governor,
who in such case shall immediately forthwith on receipt of
