Sect. XIII intitled Prisoners' Settlements.
Art. 1. For the prevention of doubts and for the
saving of repetitions Be it enacted that the
several provisions within wheresoever in the body
wheresoever in any clause of this Act and in the course of in particular of the present
section the word Parish is employed, the
provision of such clause shall be deemed to extend
to the so mentioned mutatus mutandis to the
several per places and persons following, viz:
1. Any part of a Parish, which under the name
of Vill, Township, "Hamlet, or the any other is
stands separately" charged with the maintenance
of its own Poor.
⊞ ⊞ 2. Any Extra-parochial Plan, inasmuch as the same stands or may stand charged with the maintenance of its Poor.
3. Any assemblage of Parishes ( Plans (Parishes included) which by Special
Act of Parliament or otherwise stand conjunctively
charged with the maintenance of their Poor.
3. Any Extra-parochial Place, inasmuch as the
same stands or may stand charged with the
maintenance of its Poor.
4. Any individual in as far as he or she
may stand chargeable with the maintenance
of any Pauper by reason of kindred.
