The said Court of General Sessions shall
upon receipt of such Letter of Request Petition proceed
to make such deputation accordingly: choosing
in preference, is among the Magistrates of the members of those
who have the means to in the neighbourhood of what they understand to be
the abode of the such intended Examinant one of the nearest of any
by whom the said business can with equal fitness and
convenience be performed: which said deputation may
be according to the form marked [I.2.]

Such Magistrate shall, accordingly as
soon as conveniently may be, proceed to take such
examination or examinations accordingly: causing the same to be signed by the respective examinants respectively and of the
same or a true copy thereof as being attested by him as such by his signature>
same when so taken and signed shall forthwith
transmitt to the such Overseers transmitt (which he may do by Post to the Overseers as as aforesaid [according to
their direction given as aforesaid]

The Overseers as aforesaid on the receipt of
any such examination shall transmit (which may be done by post) duplicate
copies (by them attested as true ones) under their signature
as true ones) one to the General Sessions of by
the form from which which the deputation offered as aforesaid
the other one to the Governor of the said Penitentiary
House: House: the other to the General Sessions of for the County
where within which the said Penitentiary House as shall have come
to be situated, which the there to be properly filed and
kept as aforesaid.
