The Wife and children of every such male prisoner
shall in case neither he nor such husband nor wife have any
settlemen known settlement so woman stand also chargeable upon
the said Governor, unless she have been previously relieved by some Parish
as aforesaid.

So of the children if the mother have no rightful
place of Settlement such may
every such one as shall not of
itself have gained a settlement, by both or otherwise.
