Art. And for the removal of all doubts with
respect to the cases in which Parishes may be
remain or become eventually chargeable in relation
to the Families of quondam Penitentiary Prisoners,
Be it enacted and declared as follows,
viz:

If to a quondam Penitentiary Prisoner Man
who at the time of his discharge is already married,
issue be born after his discharge, the Place
of Settlement of the Father is the Place of Settlement burthen off the eventual maintenance of such issue shall
if not Issue fall lie upon the Fathers Place of Parish:
Settlement: if he be known to have none, or have none that can be found is known
than upon that of the Mother.

2. If a discharged quondam Penitentiary-Man
having a Settlement, marry during his engagement in the Metasylum,
the burthen of the eventual maintenance of such
the t such Wife shall be upon the Place of Settlement
if the Husband's Parish: if he be known to have none or have none that can be found is known then upon that
Settlement of the Wife.
