conveyed into the hands of the persons respectively
to be addressed

For the purpose of any notice to be given by this under
Act by appointment of under this Act or for any of the purposes
thereof Every letter which shall in the usual manner
have been put into the Post, to wit either the General or the Penary Post shall primâ facie
be deemed to have been received ⊞ ⊞ as also by the person by when for the purpose of the such notice as was thereby intended to be given it ought to be received if either insofar as either from the director or from the contents any reasonable ground for such presumption can be declared by the person for whom according to its direction:
the same was intended and according to the usual course of the Post and to
such presumption shall be conclusive unless and
untill the party by which such letter is supposed
to have been received shall upon oath deny for the
sa may be prescribed by the adverse party under
the direction of the Court: and for the purpose of such
presumption the fact of the putting such letter into the
Post shall be sufficiently proved by declaration usua san me upon
either made by the oaths ofparty or his Agent declaring viva
voce his believe upon the bearing touching the same.
