associate the Idea of truth with it,
together with being liable to perpetual
doubts examining whether you had
to all the necessary parts of the Rule.
One may see the effect produced every step
of the operation, be satisfied of the necessity
of its happiness the success of it
It is from being appointed with part at but
of the subject of the 5th book that any one has
been enabled to invent the Rules of Proportion
the Arithmat. rules concerning to Proportion
it is from that such knowledge that
others may be enabled to invent more.
These may be my Ideas of the Use
of this book those who are have
some knowledge of Mathematics
may find other uses for it.
