Proportion of inequality between them.

If there be proportion of inequality between
the members of each of the Pairs, yet the
proportion may be the same between them,
to discover if this be the case or not. Be
the either the antecedent
or one of the members of this other pair
must be divided into the same Number of
aliquots as its homo member in
the other pair was. then the other member
must be divided into aliquots each equal
to one of these, in other words the common measure
of this other pair must be such a one as
shall be equal to one of the aliquots into
which this member is divided, and the other
number must be divided into pairs aliquots
equal to this common measure. now if
this other member prove to have the
same Number of aliquots each equal to
this common measure as its homo
members in the other pair, then the
Proportion between the member in one Pair
is said to be the same as that between
Proportion
