These Quantities are said to be proportionals.
But if the Antecedent of one Pair excedes its Consequent
a greater Number of aliquots than the Antecedent
of the other Pair excedes its Consequent
If The Antecedent of the second Pair being
thus divided into the same number of aliquots as the
Antecedent of the first pair, let a quantity
equal to one of these aliquots be assumed. in
the common now if this quantity repeated the
same Number of times as the Component common measure of
the first pair was to would be to equal the
consequent of the first pair, then if so often
