so much is the last but one greater than the last in the
other parcel again as much as the second is greater than
the third in one parcel so much is the last but two
greater than the last but one in the other parcel
By this it appears that in one parcel you diminish
your Quantities from the first anticedent to the
last consequent where as and in the same proportion
as in the other parcel you increase from the last
consequent to the first anticedent. Every it you

influencing the value of the last consignent in the
first parcel it is so, but in the other parcels you
influence apply a quantity as an influencing circumstance
towardsin affecting the Value of the first Antecedent
If in the midst of such series you should take a

consequent, you at the same time in the other
parcel take a quantity less than the last taken
consequently tending to increase the first antecedent
