§.3. Diffusion maximised

§.3. Diffusion maximised

1.
Now as to diffusion.
It will be as facilitation:
facilitation inversely
as the time and
labour employed.

2.
Facilitation will also
be as the number of
the means employed and
the difference efficiency
of each.

3.
First as to means applicable
to alegomorphics
and morphoscopics
both: then as
to do applicable to
each to the extension
of the other.

4.
Means of facilitation
these —
I. Elimination of
useless matter.
II. Elucidation: viz. by

1. Maximization of
the quantum of language
applied in the
ordinary form to the
subject.

2. Elucidation by apt
nomenclature de novo.

3. 4 Elucidation by nomenclature
improved.

4 5 elucidation by definition
improved. de novo.

III. 7. Versification
Arithmetic with

IV.8. Melodization.
Geometry with its et ceteras

5.
So much for means of
diffusion generally considered:
so far they are
considered with reference
to alegomorphics and
morphoscopics jointly:
but when more particularly
considered those
which apply to alegomorphics
will be considered
first: those which
belong to morphoscopics afterwards.

5. Elucidation by definition
improved.

6. Elucidation by History
— viz. of the successively-
invented operations,
and their results.

5.
7. by
Versification — for and
to memory.

6.
8. by
Melodisation — i.e.
setting to Music.

6. 7.
So much for means of
diffusion generally
considered: so far they
are considered with
reference to alegomophics
and morphoscopics
jointly: but
when more particularly
considered those
which apply to
alegomorphoscopics will
be considered first:
those which belong
to morphoscopics
afterwards.

7. 8.
Abbreviation, applied
to the quantity of the
matter of language
employed for the
communication of
the ideas meant to
be brought to view.

8.
Abbreviation, applied
to the quantity
of the matter signified,
brought to view:
by each one of the
several signs employed.

9.
Now comes antagonization:
between maximum
of the quantity
of the ideas communicated,
and minimization
of the quantity of
discourse employed
in the communication of them.

10.
Abbreviation — its
powerfulness as an
instrument employed
in the formation of
alegomorphics: all
that has been done in
it being done in it
will be seen to have
been done by a series
of successive abbreviations.

11 12.
On the other hand, the
difference has been
retarded by the
observation and appalling
appearance
of many of the instruments
of employed
in the observation.

12.
These instruments are
1. the numerical figures
signs of the
words of which ordinary
discourse
is composed

2. the letters of the
alphabet and other
marks such as
crosses &c. signs
of those signs.

See as to this title
under the head of
Alegomorphics.
