II Morphoscopics
§. Propositions — parts three

3

Single

Such accordingly is the nature of the instruction
of which the ensuing pages are destined to present the exemplification

9
Further means of
elucidation here proposed
1 For the aggregate of
the lines employed in
the preparative part
ink of a colour different
from those composing
the diagram in its original
state.

9 That the distinction may the more promptly and
forcibly strike the eye, and engage the attention, the colour
given to the several adjectitions will be a different from that
of the lines employing the of which the diagram in its original state
is composed;— though the same for each one as compared
with every other, of these same adjectitious ones.

10
General result
to different proposition
diagrams in different
number
1. In some
a single one
2. In others two
namely exhibiting
1. The enuntiation
2. The enuntiation with
the demonstration
in the same ink.
3. The enuntiation

2 a preparative part
with consisting in consisting of the enuntiative one red
-ink line, added for
3 the purpose of the demonstration
3. a preparative
3. the same with
the addition of another
red-ink line.
4 and so on, adding
each time a line.

10 Here then, if not to every each such proposition, at any rate
to many of them will be an assemblage or say a series
of diagrams consisting of 1. the f one representing the figure state of things the
existence of which is declared or say announced by the enuntiative
part of the preparation. 2. one representing exhibiting that same state of things
to which expression is given in words by the demonstrative part of
the proposition. 3. between these two diagrams, others, in number
the same as that of the several steps which by the preparative
part are directed to be taken: in other words, the several lines
which are therein and thereby directed to be drawn.
