Posology

Alegomorphics
Algebra continued

13.
When equivalence shown
between known and
unknown quantities
the desired result obtained.

When exhibition is made of the equivalence as between the
unknown quantity in question and the corresponding known
quantity one, the result desired and endeavoured to be obtained
is obtained: in morphoscopic language, the thing
sought is found.

14.
By relation to something
known knowledge
obtained of that desired
to be known.

Thus, in the case of posology as in so many
other cases, by the relation borne by it to something already
known is obtained the knowledge of that which is desired
to be known.

15.
By showing equivalence is
indicated the equivalence
between known and unknown
quantities.

And lastly thus it is that by indication of equivalence
in one word by isonomasophansy employed as an instrument
of abbreviation or say abridgment or compression or condensation
is performed the ultimate process the equivalence-indicative process — the indication of the
equivalence that has place between some unknown quantity
or combination of unknown quantities and the correspondent
known one

16.
Stupendous the results
thus obtained.

Stupendous to the a relatively uninstructed and uninformed
mind are the results thus obtained: obtained
by a process which when explained as above is seen to be
in so high a degree simple.

17
Pleasant the feeling of
this command of the field

Comfortable (it is believed) can not but be the feeling
of mental power produced by the command commanding view thus obtained of over
of that part of the field of art and science which is thus surveyed
and looked over by the mind which has then raised
itself above it: the whole expanse of it, upon occasion, traversed
over in the time of a momentary glance.

18
Time & paper saved.

So much for time. Thus as to paper, and the extent
of its surface — the bulk and when the lines are put together in a
state of parallelism that which is with so undeniable an is by or in custom justified impropriety stiled [+]
[+] its volume altogether
curious would be the
degree of compression and
condensation, if by the benefit
the time and labour necessary could be compensated.
