Ch. or §. Posology in general or of Posology considered in
an all comprehensive point of view its demonstration its two component
branches Morphoscopic and Alegomorphic
Question 1. What are Into How many and what groupes do the operations employed in Arithmetic,
otherwise called Alegomorphic posology, or
Alegomorphics require to be distinguished in the first
place?
Answer. Into two: namely 1. those which
are radical: 2. those which are derivative.
Question 2. How many and what are those which we
include under and distinguish by the appellation of
original or say radical?
Answer: Three: namely 1. Numeration. 2. Addition.
3. Substraction
Question 3. What is meant by Numeration?
Answer. The bringing to under view the several signs employed
in arithmetic to present to our minds the idea or
ideas of the several numbers which it may happen
to us to have need to take into consideration.

Question 6. What is meant by the derivative operations?
Answer those which are no more than addition or substraction expressed
by other names more and more abbreviated
