any imaginable degree Another thing that is capable
of happening to an office is — that in the business
in the make in which it at any spare point of time
it is carried may in any imaginable degree be susceptible
of improvement.
But in every office against improvement
in any whatever shape sinisterinterest in those of its shapes
even where money is out of the question is sur to be stand
opposed in those of its shapes viz power, ease
and reputations is sure to stand opposed.
If on the part of the actual incumbent of himself as commonly is commonly the case
either the will or the power incoming to on intellectual
power orrequisite both be wanting the improvement of it
at all must find its source in some other
breast. But in this case, in proportion as the improvement
is great and useful has interest sits itself wounded
in all those points. Talents are called for and called
with exercise talents which he does not posses: labour
is called for which must be bestowed bestowed even
by time but which he is unwilling to bestow. For
