This subjecttopic having by the Committee in question
brought upon the carpet and holden up to view in counties
with the preceding ones; this wish would appear imperfect
and even mutilated if so important a subject
of consideration were passed over in silence
In the mind of the Committee the mention made
of this subject can not but have had in view some practical
objectresult but what this result is I do not any where
find stated.
This object I presume must have been either
the total abolitioncompleat dissolution striking off altogether either whole or a or the
reducing part of the numbers of instances in which this union
between two functions, by the some men considered as not
properly compatible, has place. For unless something
of this sort were in view, any practical use infor the best of instances in which
it stands exemplified

have stood in need of the
researching of a Committee
to inform them of it
given of them conjunctions does no seem easy to be found.
As to the simple existence of the matter of fact abstraction made of the members of
