But it is for the sake of the economy that this subst
of sinecures to pensions is recommended. now
observe the economy: for the purpose of having in readiness giving it proposal
to be given a thing worth at present £2,000 a year equivalent posterity
posterity are an immediate pension of £2,000 a year, posterity to the end of timeto be saddled with in expence of £12,000
a year, such is the advantage economy of it the proposed measure.

Yet this is the measure gravity recommended by
the first Committee the measure itself with consummate gravity gravity recommended by
the first Committee, and the neglect put attention upon that
recommendation with equal gravity andthough with the
utmost delicacy unmediated upon by the Second
by that second which is so like unto it.

If it be too much to for the people<add>Electors<add>Constituents</add></add> to expect of their Representatives<add>delegates</add> expect of Honourable Gentlemen
that they should think before they speak, at any rate
it can not be much too much to expect of them what
they should think before they write

But away with all such insinuation : ofwhatsoever
else of any thing there be in either instance be aany deficiency,
let not thought be pitched upon as the different
article. Sinecures were found are existence. Sinecures are pretty
things. Along with the thing itself theywas found a problem
tacked to it. besides the existence of the thing a medium
of proof which serves for one thing as well as another what
was required was required a specialspecific reason to move the propriety of
its continuance. a specific reason - and here, as above
in more than those of them were found.
