Sinecures

1. In this To the first class may be placed belong all such Sinecures every Sinecure
of which the emolument consists of in a fixt sum, which
like a pension is not susceptible either of encrease
or decrease or encrease.

From a pension to the same amount it differs is
therefore only by distinguished by no more than two three circumstances: 1. it is in being perpetuated
in its duration, 2. and 3 it in being coupled with falshood
viz. a false pretence of service equality perpetuated
service, of service in some shape or other rendered
to the public during the possession of it.
