The other Another is that forasmuch as when by death demise
or any other incident calamity the country comes has the misfortune
to be deprived of the happiness of being governed services of Mr Percival
some other Minister has in what degree soever it
may happen to him to be deficient in those virtues
and other accomplishments which constitute and
adorn the character of Mr Percival will have
to take his place: that the thereupon or so far as depends
forasmuch as this such other Minister will in virtue
of his office be provided not only with his constellation
of virtues but with his circle of friends
the same reputation of transcendent immaculate purity and inviolable
fidelity to his trust will together in company with the insignia
of office pass be transmitted transmigrate of course into the hands
of this future Minister: the same persuasion of
the of every temptati disappointment which this and every other temptation
will experience in its endeavours to draw him aside
from the strictest path of duty would within that privileged
circle occupy take possession reign with sovereign power in every loyal breast, but and yet at the same
time in some did it attempt to plant itself in
any bosom wil not comprized within that privileged
circle, it would meet with the same repulse as
in the case above already brought to view.

The consequence is that, with a small number of
exceptions – a number so small as so far as depends on mere
number is looked to is not worth altogether unworthy of regard, so
long as a man in power has £38,000 a year or any
other such considerable sum to preserve by war and to lose by
peace everybody will
not only be disposed to
expect but have just the
justest reason to expect
that so far as depends
upon such his power
there will never be
any such thing as peace.
