What is What is said of the non-existence of sinecures
under all other governments, is here as well as all along
means of course to be as everything else that in throughout the
course of these pages has been said of sinecures,
meant of course to be confined to the class ones.
As to sacred ones – it what everybody knows is how
intimate as well under popery, as under that religion
which consists in the abhorrence of popery, the connection
is between the three venerable reverend revered associates – , opulence
and holiness.
