Thirteen folio pages are occupied by the contents
of divers Nos constituting among them a list termed
bearing for its title "List of Offices from which Returns
"have been required –"

By the title of a paper document thus denominated two
considerations are naturally suggested: – viz. 1. what
the useful purposes objects are to the accomplishment of which a list of this sort
might have been directed: 2. how far those or any
by the materials contents matters contained in this list, as presented
in the form in which it is presented these
good purposes have actually been accomplished.
