Yet stlll their remain so many at present
unaccountable Accountants.

The people of the United Kingdom – the people of that
metropolis in particular to which
to that part in particular
people of the metropolis to which in whom
the rest behold their the natural and most faithful guardian
of their rights – are they aware that among the
receivers of public money there are a privileged
set – and in such sort privileged that of to no one
of them let him have now so much of it in their
hands nor so much as a question be put, how
much he has of it? No, not one perhaps in a
thousand: yet sure it is that it is then, high time
that all should be?

An turn the Address to his Majesty humbly beseeching
him that he will generously be pleased to pass his
royal word that he will not in any instance grant
any office to hold either for life, or during good behaviour
or during his Majesty's pleasure any office
in virtue of which in the sum of special emolument or any other
any public money is or is to be received unless
and untill such person being a Lord of Parliament
shall have obtained in his own instance a standing order of the House
of which he is a Member, ordering and requiring
of him at all times to render all such account of of and concerning all such money
as if he were not a Member of that Honorable
House he would by usage of Parliament or otherwise
by law, be bound to render. In an address to
some such effect as this would there be anything
? anything which by with House of Parliament
could be objected to as a breach of any just and constitutionally allowable
privilege?
